Through collaborative work with Map of Life, the Half-Earth Project has recently released their National Report Cards, a new feature of the Half-Earth Map that tracks national conservation efforts with a variety of biodiversity indicators and metrics. The National Report Cards present information vital for guiding a global strategy of biodiversity conservation; this information is an integral part of international policy frameworks, including the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) and the Group on Earth Observations Biodiversity Observation Network (GEO BON).

You can read more about the National Report Cards and all their features on the Half-Earth Project’s recent blog post. Or even better, explore them interactively yourself by finding them on the Half-Earth Map!
